The Stubai Valley

Your base camp at any time of year

The Stubaital, for us the most beautiful valley in Tyrol, offers an incredible variety of opportunities for relaxation, mountain experiences and adventure at any time of year. The majestic Serles at more than 2,700 metres above sea level, blooming alpine pastures and thundering waterfalls are the perfect place for those seeking peace and quiet, nature lovers and families.

What makes the Stubai Valley so special?

You enjoy the unique advantage of always having the glacier in view from start to finish. Thanks to the straight line of the valley, this impressive sight will be a constant companion on your holiday.

In summer, the Stubaital is transformed into a true hiking paradise. Over 850 km of hiking trails, from leisurely valley walks to challenging summit tours, lead you through the impressive mountain world.

Numerous alpine pastures and huts invite you to take a break along the way and spoil you with genuine Tyrolean home cooking.

Winter fun
Winter in the Stubai Valley

In winter, four ski areas beckon, including the Stubai Glacier, Austria's largest glacier ski area and our local mountain - the Schlick 2000. Skiers, snowboarders and tobogganists get their money's worth here, and winter hikes through snow-covered landscapes also promise moments close to nature.

Away from the pistes, cross-country ski trails, toboggan runs and romantic snowshoe hikes await you.

Are you in the mood for excursions worth seeing?

There is so much to discover directly from our Auenhof. The STUBAY bathing paradise with its pools and wellness facilities is an ideal destination on rainy days.

A trip to the nearby provincial capital of Innsbruck offers cultural highlights, shopping experiences, fine restaurants and cool pubs. Or why not visit the impressive Stubai Grawa waterfalls?
